Silence Your Inner Critic and Finally Find Peace
Monday Oct 03, 2022

Self-talk can be positive or negative. Self-talk can talk you into problems or out of situations. Having a positive dialogue with yourself can help you work things out before you act on them, communicate with others, and put yourself in the right frame of mind. Cultivating positivity doesn’t mean negativity will not show up on your way. It will, but this will help you get past it and shift your mindset. Allowing negative thoughts to take control can derail you, make you depressed, or even suicidal. Practicing a positive mindset is not easy, but doing it consistently and being aware of negative thoughts when they show up will help you act on a positive line.
In this episode, you will learn about self-talk, how to live in the moment, and how to shift your mindset through self-awareness, meditation, and positive self-talk. Positivity is not natural, nor negativity. We create them by choosing our thoughts to grow and manifest. Being aware of negative thoughts and switching to positive thoughts early will help cultivate a healthy mindset.

Why setting goals is the KEY to success.
Monday Sep 19, 2022
Monday Sep 19, 2022
Goals are meant to be a stepping stone to success. They give you something to work towards, measure your progress, and help you identify what needs improvement. A goal without a deadline is a dream that might not come true. Set an achievable, realistic goal with clear deadlines so you can see your success in the near future.
In this episode, you will understand that achieving goals requires discipline and focus, but it often means giving up certain things. For example, someone who wants to start their own business might have to give up their social life to focus on building their business. You will also learn that by breaking down your goals into achievable steps, you will have a clearer idea of how to achieve them. Sometimes, it's the smaller goals that can make all the difference. It's said that when you hit the smaller goals, they motivate you to achieve the larger ones.

Stop Letting Fear Control Your Life
Monday Sep 05, 2022
Monday Sep 05, 2022
Fear can be a major obstacle to getting what you want in life. Fear of failure, fear of inadequacy, fear of rejection - the list goes on. While feeling afraid is natural, letting those fears hold you back is not fair. Fear is one of the most important parts of your fight-or-flight response and has been a protective mechanism for humans since immemorial.
The idea that you can only be successful if you never fail is a myth. To be successful, you need to figure out how to use your failures as learning experiences. If you're not failing, then you're not taking any chances. Successful people often mention the failures they’ve gone through to emphasize the importance of trying new things and not being afraid of failing. They never let the past dictate their present. In this episode, we’ll explore the various fears of people and how to manage them effectively.
During this episode, you will learn about;
[00:00] Episode intro and what’s in for you today
[00:40] The devastating effects of fear of failure
[01:30] Two divorces that created the fear of getting married for the third time
[02:20] Is it okay to fail?
[03:10] Look at Kobe Bryant
[03:56] Failure as the key to success
[04:44] How do you counter fear?
[05:35] The flip side of fear of failure is the fear of success
[07:42] Tommy’s golden nuggets for you
[08:50] Wrap up
Notable Quotes
“Fear is the greatest hindrance to achieving your goals.”
“It is okay to fail. The lesson you learn is the most important.”
“You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant.
“There’s no success without failure. Every successful person failed many times that they got used.”
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”-Thomas A. Edison.

Sneak Peek

Sunday Aug 14, 2022
Are you looking for a new idea, perspective, or way to think about life? Well, the Mindset Unleash Today Podcast offers a fresh take on self-help content designed to help you live a better life. We will talk about personal development and mindset shifts that will make a difference in your life through personal experiences and in-depth interviews, done by me, Thomas Gucciardo, or just “Tommy,” your host.
My life has been a journey of both good and challenging times. I grew up in a great family, with a dad who was a professional and a mother who was a teacher. My brother was a chiropractor and then was me, the black sheep. What I mean by being black sheep is that I chose different paths that fulfilled my personal needs. However, I didn’t become the black sheep overnight. It was from a series of occurrences and behavior traits.
Despite my responsible parents who did anything humanly possible to raise me well, I always felt inadequate and uncomfortable whenever in the prescence of my large family. I found myself gravitating toward things and people that stoked my ego. I ended up involved in drug addiction and crimes because I found acceptance and a sense of being valued in that lifestyle. I spent many years struggling with active addiction, married twice, and had two prior incarcerations, but today I am a clean man and have been in recovery since 10/28/2008. I am also a graduate of Saint Johns University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Hope we shall have a good ride together!
